About xciteuk, xciteuk is a multi-gaming organisation which originally started out as a clan in counter-strike: source.

Heres how it all began...

The team rose to prominence after finishing second at the i23 LAN, losing only the one match during the tournament, the final against a strong zboard lineup. The i24 LAN saw us finish second placed again, swiftly followed up by a second position placement in that years Sniper Alley 5v5 Cup. With these two impressive performances under our belts we entered three 5v5 leagues - Jolt, Clanbase and CCSSL - and finished first place in all of them.

Eventually the team would part ways and move onto other organisations, untill mixa.rar and Spl@tio decided to bring back xciteuk, but this time round the brought in a new face to manage the team, Richard 'Dr.Gonzo' Lewis. Richard is the man that expanded xciteuk and brought in new sponsors and really expanded xciteuk from a clan into a multi-gaming organisation. With the addition of the xciteuk.tf2 squad, call of duty 4, halo3 and fifa08 team, xciteuk was growing and growing, even today xciteuk continues to grow.

After Richard decided to focus on his journalism and part ways with xciteuk, the next person to step up to the plate as xciteuk's general manager was Derek 'Deek' Cameron, one of xciteuk.tf2's players, but nowadays Deek does more "technical" work, with mixa.rar being the driving force that keeps xciteuk going day to day. With the new website, it brought a new manager Josh 'J_A' second name - console manager, Josh has been a great addition to the xciteuk name and has been a key element in xciteuk's success.

Who knows what the future will hold for xciteuk....
